June 21st – Liz and Paul O’Neill – “Plants I’ve Killed”

Paul and Liz moved to LLwyngareg in 1992 and tried their hand at small scale farming of the 28 acre holding. This proved exhausting and ultimately impossible (to quote Paul). Then a gift of a Rhododendron from Paul’s A-level students kick-started a passion for gardening and led to the development of the 4 acres of amazing garden they have today full of rare trees (Paul’s passion) and ‘blowsy plants’ (Liz’s preference). Open to visitors through the NGS, see their website https://www.llwyngarreg.co.uk/. Plants for sale!
